Visual Test (VT)

MAGNETIC TESTING (MT)

  • Color contrast magnetic particle testing.
  • Fluorescent magnetic particle testing.

PENETRANT TESTING (PT)

  • Dye penetrant examination - color contrast.

  • Fluorescent penetrant examination.

ULTRASONIC TESTING

TYPES OF EXAMINATIONS:

  • Pulse-echo ultrasound examination using longitudinal and transverse waves.
  • Thickness measurement.

RADIOGRAPHIC TESTING (RT)

APPLICATIONS

  • Examination of welds, castings, and forgings.
  • X-rays examination - consists in controlled bombing of the workpiece by X-rays, and radiographic film to give the internal image of the macroscopic structure of the workpiece.
